Christmas gifts for investors might seem like a difficult task to achieve. But if you have an investing friend or family member to gift to there are plenty of affordable options for you to get. Not just investors but entrepreneurs, business owners, and young ones you wish to endow with financial and leadership wisdom can benefit from these gifts.  Gifts are in order for affordability.

  • Smart Money Magazine 1 Year Subscription – $5

SmartMoney Magazine is a great introduction to topics that investors love but also very friendly to those who may want a better handle on their finances and what is going on in the world of business. It is easy to read and follow and often offers many beginners guides and is applicable to most income streams including teenagers. Amazon.com is running a special on this magazine right now, $5 for a subscription, that’s $0.42 an issue. It only lasts until December 3rd though so act soon.  For $5 pick up one for yourself and send a couple out for friends and family. This is a great idea and is dirt cheap to pass up!  Other great ones, although more expensive are Kiplinger’s Personal Finance Magazine, Money, and Inc.

  • Business & Capitalism Board Games – $26 – $33

Monopoly is not the only board game for investors or those interested in business for fun.  Board games make great gifts for Christmas too. Puerto Rico $26 is one such game, one of the highest rated on BoardGameGeek.com.  In this game you compete with other players running industry and developing an empire. Power Grid $29.99 is another great business game in which cooperation is key. Get power to certain cities and key regions by bidding on power plants and acquire raw materials like coal, oil, or uranium to fund your electricity. Settlers of Catan $33, one of the most popular board games now is easy to learn and quite addicting.  Everyone participants in each turn and each game is unique and different because you choose what the board looks like. Learn plenty of budgeting and business strategy with hours of fun!

  • Buy one Share of Your Favorite Stock to be Framed – less than $40 – $1,000

Does a youthful investor or child in your life love Disney, WWE, Build a Bear, Starbucks?  How about that father or husband? John Deer, Harley Davidson, Ford?  Just about any of your favorite companies are available. You will be able to buy just one share of one of these companies which will be shipped to you in the name of the recipient. It is a real share of stock and worth money!  But unlike buying stocks through a discount broker there is no minimum and you get the real share certificate sent to you in the mail. These are great for decorating a bedroom, entertainment room, or office.
